DURATION: 14 WEEKS

In May 2024, CIP successfully completed upgrades to the multi-purpose gymnasium and fitness spaces at Matraville Sports High School, the proud home of recent Olympians who represented Australia in Rugby 7’s. Over a 14-week period, CIP managed every aspect of the project, ensuring that all upgrades were fully inclusive and in strict compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

The scope of work included the removal and replacement of the existing basketball court surfaces and markings, as well as the installation of new spectator seating for 90 visitors. CIP also resurfaced the walls, upgraded the gymnasium lighting to energy-efficient LED fixtures in alignment with EFSG standards, and installed ceiling fans to enhance ventilation and regulate temperature more effectively.

The successful completion of these upgrades has significantly improved the facilities, providing a modern, inclusive, and sustainable environment for students and visitors alike.
